Gnomic Exploration require several Experienced Field Assistants to assist our client during the dry season until the end of the year in the Northern Territory. In this role you will report directly to the Exploration Supervisor and will assist the wider geology team with the following key tasks

• Assist with operation readiness for all field activities for the exploration programmes
• Check and maintain all mapping, GPS equipment, vehicles and tools are in operational condition
• Ensure field data and photographic data is maintained and uploaded to exploration network
• Participate in safety activities
• Sample collection & processing of RC chips
• Diamond core mark-up and sample processing
• Data collection and processing with a focus on high quality QAQC standards
• Site prep and rehab
• Assist with RC sample despatch
• Monitor consumable stock levels 
• Review map changes and ensure mapping accuracy on clearing permits including Trimle/GPS/iPad and paper versions are current
• A Forklift licence is highly desirable
• Proven track record of working outdoors in challenging conditions is esstential.

All travel is FIFO Darwin or Cairns. Ensuited rooms and facilities are provided at onsite accommodation. You must be willing to undergo a medical and pass a drug and alcohol screen. An Open manual drivers licence is essential. Applicants must also be clean shaven for this position.
