Gnomic Exploration require an experienced UG mine geologist (~5 yrs) to assist our client in NSW at their UG gold operations. The following duties are a required to be conducted; 

·  Manage, monitor and reconcile material movements from the underground mine on a daily basis

·  Communicate and collaborate with mining stakeholders to optimise ore extraction, minimise ore loss and reduce ore dilution

·         Co-ordinate grade control activities with mine scheduling and daily mining operations

·  Perform geological mapping of all operating development and any other development as instructed by the Senior Underground Geologist

·  Produce stope and level-plan reports to be used by mine planning and operations

·  Assist with monthly reconciliation and End of Month reporting

·  Collaborate with the Open Pit Grade Control geology team on Mill feed strategies to achieve budget targets

 

·  Assist Underground Project Geologists with the supervision of diamond drilling contractors with completion of daily drill rig inspections

Experience in UG mining operations and precious metals and with software including Deswik, Leapfrog, other industry databases (Acquire, Datashed etc) and MS Office is also preferred.
